For growing businesses still running on manual processes.

Tell me what's going on.

Most businesses aren't broken. They just haven't seen what's possible yet.

What I usually hear first

“We've always done it this way.”

“By the time the report's done, it's already out of date.”

“I didn't know that was even possible.”

That's where we start.

Joel Post · 20 years building and running businesses · Co-founded a digital agency and a software company

“Where would we even start?”

How this usually goes

  1. Talk

You tell me what's going on. I ask a lot of questions. Thirty minutes, no cost, no pitch.

  2. Diagnose

Two weeks, together. I talk with the people who do the work, map how things actually run, and we decide what's worth changing. And what isn't.

  3. Build

If it makes sense to keep going, we design and build it together, so your people actually want to use it.

Where the friction usually hides

“We enter the same thing in three different places.”

Forms, paper, and copy-paste become one clean flow. Enter it once, use it everywhere.

“I thought someone followed up on that.”

Follow-ups and approvals that rely on memory get a simple workflow that keeps things moving.

“The software sort of works. We work around the rest.”

Sometimes the answer is configuring what you already have. Sometimes it's something built for how you actually work. I'll tell you which.

“Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm missing.”

A look across the whole business at what's manual, what won't scale, and what's quietly costing you time.

Where we start: the JMP Diagnostic

Two weeks focused on one area of your business. I talk with the people who do the work every day, map how it really runs, and we design the path forward together.

What's included

  • One clear focus, agreed up front
  • Up to four conversations with the people closest to the work
  • A map of how things run today, and where the friction is
  • A prioritized plan: what to change first, what to leave alone, and what it would take

Timeline

2 weeks

Investment

$5,000

The plan is yours, whether or not we keep working together.

What's possible, and what isn't

Not everything should be automated. Part of my job is telling you what isn't worth building, and what software can't fix. You'll get a straight answer, even when it's “leave it alone.”

Who you'll be talking to

I'm Joel Post. For 20 years I've built and run businesses, including a digital agency and a software company. My background is in design, so I care as much about how something feels to use as whether it works. I'm one person. The person you talk to is the person who does the work.

Tell me what's going on.

A few sentences is plenty. I'll reply within two business days to set up a time.
